FLASHBACK: Miami 1980s

FLASHBACK: Miami 1980s was a multi-media art project/exhibition conceived by freelance photographer, Alexia Fodere in collaboration with The Miami Herald veteran photographers, Donna Natale Planas and Charles Trainor, Jr. Inspired by Fodere’s interest in the lifestyle and culture of Miami in the 1980’s, FLASHBACK was a strategically curated exhibition placing archived still images inset into vintage television sets. Featuring over 15 works, the exhibition exemplifies a testament to the final era of film photography, prior to the dramatic shift in technology with the advent of digital processing, and a new way of seeing through the lens.

It was held on June 7th at the Freedom Tower and was hosted by Miami City Social ...over 100 guests attended this great exhibition

Attendance: 170 people
